
Island Breeze Taxi Service Terms and Conditions.
1. Fare Structure
Our standard fare includes transportation for the number of passengers agreed upon during booking.
An additional charge of $15 per way, per extra person will apply for each extra person beyond the agreed-upon passenger count.
This does not apply to our Specialty Services, such as Full Service: Transportation and Ferry Tickets.
2. Extra Stops
Additional stops beyond the initially planned route are subject to a fee of $20 per stop, applicable for up to 20 minutes. Charges for longer stop durations may vary and are only available based on our reservations/availability.
3. Waiting Time
Waiting time exceeding the standard allowance is billed at a rate of $50 per hour (prorated).
Standard waiting time allowance is 20 minutes.
4. Change of Schedule
Changes to the pickup or drop-off schedule must be communicated in advance.
A fee of $15 will be charged for any change in the scheduled pickup or drop-off time.
5. Change of Locations
Charges for changing pickup or drop-off locations are subject to distance-based pricing. Exact fees will be communicated upon request and must be agreed upon before the commencement of the trip.
6. Full Service Return Time Changes (Returning Earlier)
When hired for the Full Service: Transportation and Ferry Tickets, if the customer requests to return earlier than scheduled, we cannot guarantee availability, but we will do our best to accommodate.
A $15 change fee will apply.
7. Airport Pickup – Flight Delays
When hired for an airport pickup service, we guarantee transportation coverage for up to 1 hour of flight delay.
Delays beyond 1 hour are subject to our availability and will incur a $15 additional fee if we are able to accommodate.
8. Customer Readiness & Missed Ferry Responsibility
Customers must be ready at the assigned pickup time.
Island Breeze Taxi is not responsible for customers who miss their ferry due to not being ready at the scheduled pickup time.
9. Payment
Payment is due at the end of your first trip if you have multiple trips and can be made by cash or through accepted electronic payment methods.
In the case of credit card payments, a processing fee of 7% will apply.
10. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time may incur a cancellation fee.
We keep 50% of the deposit as a cancellation fee.
If the service you hired was the Full Service, we will keep $50 plus the cost of the ferry tickets regardless.
11. Driver Conduct
Our drivers are trained to provide courteous and safe service. Any instances of misconduct or inappropriate behavior by the driver should be reported to info@islandbreezepr.taxi or by text message to 787-370-8841.
12. Feedback and Complaints
We welcome feedback from our customers. Please contact us with any concerns or complaints, and we will strive to address them promptly and appropriately.
13. Media Release (Photos/Videos)
By using our services, you agree that photos or videos may be taken during the service and used for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing materials.
14. Reservation of Rights
Island Breeze Taxi reserves the right to refuse service to any passenger deemed to be intoxicated, disorderly, or posing a threat to the safety of the driver or other passengers.
15. Modification of Terms
These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Any updates or modifications will be communicated through our website or other appropriate channels.
16. Agreement
